My little trick or treaters were real troopers. We went out to a neighborhood that has a full out halloween party. Tons of ghost and gobblins walking the steets and thankfully not much traffic. They had so much fun!Zoe was supposted to be a purple carebear, but it was too warm and I was afraid she would be so hot she wouldn't have fun,so I made a last minute decision to dress her as a ballerina. Poor Max had no other option

Cocoa Beach
We just got back from a much needed vacation. Kids had a blast of the beach! The first two days where so windy we thought we were going to be stuck inside the whole time but it cleared up and the beautiful Florida sky's were in full glory.
We did have one problem through out the trip...just look at what the wind did to the car when I was trying to get out of the car. The wind just threw the door back so hard it broke the door so we couldn't even shut the door. Thankfully one of the guys we stayed with was able to fix it enough to get home, but it is still a big problem.

16 days to go
I cannot believe my baby is almost a one year old. Max took his first step about two weeks ago. Unfortunately not much progress since then. He can pull up to standing position like he has been doing it for months but if I encourage him to take a step he laughs and drops to his knees. I KNOW he can take more than one step because I caught him trying it when he thought I wasn't looking. He pulled up and took two steps toward Zoe then realized I WAS looking and dropped to all fours...then laughed.

Mommies need a day off too!

Notice the family on the beach. That's right! No one but me at the beach for the afternoon! Every time we go to the beach as a family Siran and I are so worn out after just and hour it seems sometimes more work than fun. I wistfully think how nice it would be to be at the beach and not have to keep Max from stuffing fistfuls of sand in his mouth or picking slippery sunscreen slathered Zoe up with every wave. But I rarely do - that is till I just about have a meltdown of my own due to dealing with my babies meltdowns.
Long story short, Zoe's terrible twos are driving me insane. I had to get out of the house and have some time to myself...before I completely lose it. Thankfully, Siran the great husband that he is, had no problem watching the kids.He never does, but for whatever reason I think that its my job to be there constantly and daddy works too hard to leave him with whiny children on his time off. Now a little more rested and relaxed I realize I have to have a day off too... at least an afternoon.
